Model novel LED and laser devices for infrared applications with interdisciplinary support from idea to product. Develop, validate, and apply predictive multiphysics simulation models, followed by necessary experimental work for validation. Ideal candidate will have completed studies in physics or related field, with a preference for a PhD. Must have several years of experience in semiconductor physics, specifically III-V semiconductors. Proficiency in optoelectronics, device characterization, simulation, and fabrication processes is required. Strong expertise in relevant simulation techniques like raytracing, FEM, and TCAD, along with excellent communication skills and fluency in English is a must. ‒
